NQS supports the managers who are responsible for quality and safety to review and improve their Quality and Safety Management Systems focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
National Quality and Safety Group Co-founder and Group Director Peter Burton has worked in the community and disability sector for over 30 years. He was a Quality Auditor for NDIS Practice Standards and the first accredited assessor for disability standards in Australia in 2001. Peter worked from grassroots to executive level assisting more than 300 not-for-profit organisations in Quality and Safety Compliance.
Peter speaks the ‘Quality’ language and is focused on ensuring that management system decisions are always focused on customers and participants. He understands that excellence is required in every process to ensure that the customer’s or participant’s needs are fully met. Peter is very aware that every NDIS provider/community business organisation is unique. He is an expert in interpreting certification requirements and applying them to the actual business operation.
